Greenfield Head of Sales Florian Korn on the Pega Government Specialization

What significance does receiving the Pega Government Specialization have for Greenfield?

Florian: It’s a real milestone for us. The „Pega Specialized Partner“ designation in the Government sector confirms our expertise in the public sector and shows that we at Greenfield truly understand our clients. Of course, the dedication of our employees should not go unmentioned here. For me personally, this recognition shows that the value proposition we offer is matched by what we deliver at the end of a project. As a team, we’re able to take on complex challenges, tackle them head-on, and deliver tailor-made solutions that truly make a difference and guarantee our clients‘ success.

Can you tell us more about the process your team went through to be recognized as a Pega Specialized Partner? What challenges did you have to overcome?

Florian: Since our founding, we’ve worked together intensively on the specific requirements — not just those of the public sector — and optimized our solutions accordingly. Some of our team members have even been working with Pega products for decades and are true experts in consulting for public institutions. I think we’d all agree that our ambition, our experience, and our continuous drive for further development are what brought us to this point.

Was there a key project that significantly contributed to your award?

Florian: The scale and significance of our projects have grown considerably in recent years. As early as 2019, together with several Bavarian ministries, we built an emergency aid platform in record time for applying for the Covid-19 support available at the time. Since then, we’ve supported numerous other Pega projects in the public sector and have formed valuable partnerships, including with T-Systems, in order to continuously expand our service portfolio in the public sector and other industries.

What new opportunities does the Pega award create for you?

Florian: This award not only gives us momentum in the public sector but also opens doors to new opportunities in other areas. Alongside this award, we’ve also been recognized as a Pega Specialized Partner in the field of Intelligent Automation. We see great potential in extending our expertise and our solutions into industries where we already have strong capabilities and want to keep growing, as well as in continuously opening up additional markets. One thing is certain: a lot is planned for Greenfield over the coming months and years.

What sets your Pega solutions in the public sector apart from those of your competitors? How do you use these differences to offer your clients clear added value and strengthen your position in the market?

Florian: Our secret to success lies in truly putting ourselves in our clients‘ shoes and developing tailor-made solutions that are precisely suited to their needs. We work end-to-end, meaning we develop, implement, and maintain the corresponding applications. On top of that, we train our clients in using the Pega platform. This client-centric approach is our key to delivering added value across industries and ensuring that our clients are always one step ahead in the digital world.

Can you tell us more about your strategic partnerships, especially with Pega, and how these partnerships help you stay at the forefront of technology development?

Florian: Our long-standing partnership with Pega is central to our innovation strategy. It allows us to stay consistently at the forefront of technology development by integrating the latest tools and best practices. This partnership helps us offer our clients the best possible solutions. Our USP and major advantage as a specialist in this field is that we focus on one technology and master it perfectly. That’s the foundation for further strengthening our position as a technology leader in implementation.

How does Greenfield ensure it stays innovative and competitive in the highly competitive digitalization market?

Florian: We invest specifically in developing new components for our service portfolio. Just recently, we released our own purpose-built Pega components, the Greenfield Components. These allow our clients to implement complex process workflows in existing Pega platforms quickly and easily — without lengthy development phases. At the same time, we hold regular knowledge transfer workshops within the Greenfield team. This ensures that all our employees benefit from our investment, and we encourage cross-functional exchange. I’m convinced that this transparency and this interaction bring about entirely new perspectives and are therefore a real strength for our company. „Best practice“ is something we actively live and pass on, so that all our colleagues have the opportunity to apply new insights directly in their respective projects.

What long-term goals are you pursuing regarding the further development of your Pega solutions and expansion into new industries? How do you plan to consolidate your leading position in the public sector of the DACH region while opening up new market segments?

Florian: In the long term, we want to further strengthen our position as the leading provider of Pega solutions in the public sector of the DACH region and extend our expertise to other key industries as well. We’re focused on sustainable growth and want to develop innovative solutions that help us open up new market segments and continue to grow our client base.
